A little bit more about me!

An unusual profile?

Where do I see myself in the future ?

My passion is cyber security, however I also study European Studies (International relations with a focus on Europe) at King's college London. Ideally I would love to link the two of them for my work. I would like to work for companies in cyber security, who would have an international dimension. I am ready and motivated to travel, meet and work with people around the world. Linking my two passions is what I am aiming for. In our modern world, the lack of cyber security is the main rising threat to government and private companies regardless. As we put more and more sensitive content and trust in technology, it is more than important to know how to prevent these threats around the world. Governments, private sector and public sector; everyone is concerned. This is what I believe, and why I want to work in this field. It is a global issue, therefore this links my passion for International relations, languages and cyber security.

How will I do that ?

Working abroad, traveling to different countries, meet and work with people from different culture is what I would love to do. I speak three languages (Spanish, English, French)  and currently studying Japanese, I hope these skills will help me to move and work freely around the world. I left France to study abroad for four years. Leaving my home country to work in a completely different place with a different language. In my four year Bachelor degree I will also spend a year abroad in Madrid too. Moving around the world has never been a constraint or something that I fear. Working and travelling abroad is not possible if you do not speak multiple languages, especially in our modern world where each company even small has to compete with other ones around the world.

Why me ?

Regarding the educational system, studying international relations, languages and cyber security is unusual. This has always restrained me to choose path that never actually fitted me. This is why it pushed me to work harder and harder, to do what I love. This is why I am studying two degrees. The OSCP (offensive security certified professional) and European Studies at King's College London. I have a technical background in cyber security and I also have a set of skill that helps me vulgarize problems and solutions and also work on an international scale. You could have an engineer not able to explain a problem to a superior and an adviser not able to understand the problem in its entirety and suggest technical solutions on the go for a client. I work hard to be able to do both. Having a complete technical training and background but also a strong profile to solve problem and work with clients directly.

What's next?

On September 2016, I'll be leaving to Spain from September to June. It is an important part of my degree! I'll be living in Madrid, studying at Complutense!

By the end of this year abroad I'll be completely fluent in Spanish.

One of my goal is to be able to study Japanese in Japan for a time, in order to be able to speak and understand Japanese completely. I want to be able to speak French, English, Spanish and Japanese ! I already speak French and English and Spanish quiet fluently, I only miss Japanese.

Internships?

I am also looking for internships and I am trying to find companies that might find me interesting and that could provide me a fitting experience in my field. I would love to get more experience in cyber security, maybe as a consultant or pentester for example. I also love languages and international relations. Finding an internship with a strong international side would be amazing...
